*Candidates MUST reside in Kwara State (Ilorin and its environs).Responsibilities
Conduct prescribed tests, analyse results and prepare reports based on findings.
examine and diagnose bodily fluids, such as blood and urine, or tissues from biopsies and Pap smears, to diagnose disease
Examine microscopic samples to identify diseases or other abnormalities
Perform autopsies when required.
Oversee the laboratory with the responsibility of managing other physicians and lab technicians
Communicate pathologic findings to surgeons or other physicians and assist in diagnosis, treatment and management decisions.
Conduct research and present scientific findings.
Education:Must Possess MBBS from a recognized medical school with specialty in pathologyOther requirements:
Must be currently licensed by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience
Must stay abreast of research and development in the field of pathology and be knowledgeable about existing data in medical practices and diseases.
