Job Description
To be responsible for coordinating the delivery of services to key clients.
The role of the Operations Project Support Manager is to create long term relationships, acting as the bridge between our client and our operational delivery team.
Essential Functions
Responsible for operations interface with clients.
Plan operations and maintenance activities as stated in the SLA including but not limited to Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance.
Monitor overall performance of services and timelines to deliver on projects.
Develop and distribute service reports to key internal personnel and clients, highlighting potential issues and make suggestions for improvement.
Interface with the Operations team at the head office, the Regional Managers and Operations Directors and ensuring that they are aware of new developments.
Ensure that all Operations and Maintenance related issues raised by the client are closed.
Relationship Management:
Acts as the liaising officer between IPI Powertech Nigeria and the client with respect to maintenance projects.
Build and Maintain a business relationship with key clients staff at all levels.
Work with the clients and senior management to identify and manage services improvement activities.
Requirements
Telecoms Project management / Service delivery experience of at least five (5) years
B.Sc in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical
Project Management certification is a must
Understanding of workflow systems
MS Office suite and advanced Excel skills
Proven track record of delivering projects within define timelines under high pressure
Customer Management: tactful, resolute and committed to providing excellent service
Ability to deliver technical presentations competently
Decisiveness and ability to use initiative to make quick decisions and resolve problems
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Must be able to interface with clients “Executive” Level Management
Clinical and attentive to details
Good relationship builder with strong diplomacy skills
