They are based in LEKKI/AJAH AXIS IN LAGOS.JOB DESCRIPTION A list of reviewable and expected functions of the HR Manager: Recruitment: carry out recruitment for positions in the company within and across the states and cities of operation either directly or through an external recruitment agency.Job description and Job Specifications:To design job description across all levelsInduction and Orientation: Responsible for the induction of new staff into the company and orientation of new staff about basics of company operationsSkill Gap Analysis: Carry out skill Gap analysis by development of Skill Mapping format for identifying next phase of training needsCapacity Building: Develop Training Plans and Training Calendar for the Employees and Directors based on Skills. Map Analysis for the phase-wise development of Training Modules and continuous process of Capacity Building.Periodic Performance Appraisal: Design and Develop Format for approved periodic Performance AppraisalPolices: Educate Staff and employees as to policies related to Compensation, Transfer, Promotion, Redundancy, and Internship, short term Consultants, Grievance Reprisal and ExitDevelopment of HR Policy & Manual: Development of a uniform and comprehensive HR Policy by the development of Human Resource, Capacity Building and Performance Appraisal & Incentive Manual, Employees Empowerment, Employee Engagement, Employee Retention, Entire HR Generalist Profile, Administrative ActivitiesAdministrative Supports: Provision of adequate Human Resources, Office utilities, Logistics arrangement, Facilities maintenance, Tackling all disciplinary issues with suitable action, Conduct of Timely Meeting, Vendor Management, issuing of necessary Orders, Circulars & notices, Monitoring the work of outsourced staff, where applicable.Record Management: Maintenance of Company Records (Certificate of Incorporation, Share Certificates, Board Meeting Minutes) chronological records with segregation and grading of top priority correspondence, Classification of Files, Documentation, Archives etc.Liaison and Coordination: Liaison with Govt. Development and Ministry for the compilation, circulation and dissemination of required information. Other Activities as and when requiredStatutory Compliance under Companies Act 1956: This includes preparation of Agenda for timely conduct of Board Meeting, Audit Committee Meeting, and Annual General Meeting of the Shareholder etc. Compilation of minutes and its circulation for approval and further necessary action. Annual Action Plan: Preparation of Annual Action Plan with Physical & Financial targets specifying tasked, time lines, procedures, budget allocation & outcomes for HR & Admin.Tender Documents: Finalization of tender documented with detailed TOR and scope of work for hiring of organization for services through competitive bidding.Disciplinary/Compliance issues: Render assistance to the Head of HR in staff disciplinary cases.Any work as and when required.
