Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, including managing daily operations, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. Monitor workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to streamline processes and achieve measurable outcomes. Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, addressing concerns, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of electrical engineering deliverables and technical submissions provided by contractors to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.

Verify the integrity and functionality of electrical installations, such as substations, transformers, switchgear, and power systems, to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Conduct thorough inspections and testing to confirm proper installation, performance, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Document findings accurately and report any discrepancies or potential hazards to relevant stakeholders for prompt resolution. Maintain detailed records of all assessments to support future audits and maintenance planning.

Design, installation, and maintenance of distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), cable networks, lighting systems, earthing setups, and lightning protection infrastructure.

Perform on-site evaluations and technical assessments to verify adherence to authorized drawings, specifications, and project criteria.

Review and confirm project advancement while offering expert technical guidance for contractor payment verification.

Assess potential technical risks, identify any non-conformities, and address quality concerns to ensure project integrity and compliance.

Compile assurance reports and offer strategic recommendations based on findings.

Seeking a candidate with at least three years of experience in a similar role, proficiency in project management software, and strong communication skills. The ideal applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Additional qualifications include problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines. Responsibilities will include overseeing project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards.

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related field is required.

Professional registration with a recognized body such as the Council for the Regulation of Nursing in Nigeria (CORN), Professional Engineers (PE), Chartered Engineer (Cent), or an equivalent credential is required.

Associate Level candidates must possess a minimum of six years of pertinent experience in industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, power generation, transmission, or major infrastructure projects. Consultant Level applicants require at least twelve years of relevant experience in these specialized sectors.

Proficient in electrical systems encompassing high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) networks, as well as substations, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and power distribution infrastructure.

Proficiency in adhering to and applying IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and other pertinent industry standards is required.

Proficiency in consulting, Owner’s Engineer roles, EPC/EPCM, third-party inspection, project assurance, or technical auditing is highly advantageous.

Seeking candidates with industry-recognized certifications that align with the role’s core competencies. Desired credentials include, but are not limited to, PMP, CISSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. These certifications should validate expertise in project management, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure, respectively. Applicants must possess at least one of these certifications or an equivalent qualification to be considered.

PMP certification, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, BOSH certification, IEEE membership, Electrical Safety Certification, and Protection & Control Certification—or an equivalent credential—are required.

Professionals with experience in independent assurance, consulting, construction supervision, project verification, technical auditing, or owner’s engineering are strongly encouraged to apply.
