Job Summary

A seasoned Production Manager is required to supervise daily shop floor activities and enhance operational efficiency within our aluminum extrusion facility.

This position requires strong leadership to achieve performance objectives, enhance operational processes, and uphold rigorous safety and quality protocols.

Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to drive organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate cross-functionally to align initiatives with company goals, ensuring seamless integration of resources and workflows. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional development among team members while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsible for managing and coordinating daily production activities across various shifts.

Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean manufacturing methodologies to reduce downtime and optimize equipment performance.

Strive to meet production targets while minimizing waste and lowering unit costs.

Oversee the planning and organization of shift schedules, distribute staff effectively, and enhance production line efficiency.

Maintain rigorous adherence to safety, quality, and maintenance protocols on the production floor to ensure operational excellence.

Collaborate effectively with the maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and planning teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in operations.

Drive ongoing enhancements to processes and ensure strict compliance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Offer guidance and support to operators through training sessions and mentorship opportunities, aiming to bolster their skills, elevate performance levels, and reinforce accountability.

Maintain accurate documentation, compile detailed production reports, and update performance dashboards as required.

Monitor raw material utilization and assist in maintaining precise inventory levels.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, or C++.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to mentor junior team members.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with at least five years of hands-on experience in production supervision or plant operations, ideally within a manufacturing setting.

Achieved measurable improvements in optimization, cost reduction, and process efficiency throughout prior roles. Demonstrated consistent success in identifying and implementing strategies that enhance operational performance while maintaining quality standards.

Proven expertise in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S methodologies, and other lean manufacturing principles is essential for this role. Candidates should demonstrate practical application of these tools to enhance operational efficiency and maintain high standards of workplace organization and equipment reliability.

Proven ability to lead teams effectively, coordinate collaborative efforts, and communicate with clarity and precision.

Proficient in evaluating production data to derive meaningful insights and implement informed, strategic decisions.

Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with a preference for candidates possessing prior experience with Odoo.

Strong preference is given to candidates who are ready and willing to reside on-site in ACWA.
