Our client is busy with building a Gas Pipeline in Nigeria, which will be around 500 kilometre. This project will take up to 3 years in total and will be the single largest infrastructure investment in Nigeria’s history.
Activities of the Job
Responsible for all electrical activities during the project;
Review, consult, design and supervise all installations onshore of the electrical requirements for the whole project;
Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements;
Develop electromechanical products by studying customer requirements;
Set specifications and check the design of the electromechanical products and systems;
Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling and installing components;
Prepare product reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends;
Cooperate with team members in complying with relevant health and safety legislations and procedures;
Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function.
Requirements of the Job
Several years experience in Nigeria is a must
Minimum 10 years experience as Electrical Engineer
Experience with Gas Pipelines is mandatory
Electrical Engineering Education
European passport
Specifications of the Job:
Willing to move to Nigeria (or already based in Nigeria)
Start date will be as soon as possible
Onshore based
