Seeking a dedicated Full Stack Developer to work full-time on-site in either Lagos or Abuja. The position requires a consistent physical presence at the designated office location.
The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that enhance and support Bowmen’s logistics and freight operations.
Day-to-day duties encompass the creation of intuitive front-end interfaces, the development of secure and scalable back-end services, and the seamless integration of internal and third-party systems and APIs.
The position requires close collaboration with product, operations, and logistics teams to convert business needs into technical implementations, crafting clean, testable code, diagnosing technical challenges, and actively participating in code reviews while driving continuous enhancement of engineering standards.
The developer will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and high performance of Bowmen’s platforms while ensuring they meet the needs of shippers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven experience in software development, system design, or a comparable role is essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is required, along with familiarity with frameworks like Django or React. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are critical. Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also necessary. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
Proficient in front-end development with expertise in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Demonstrates strong expertise in back-end web development and software engineering, with a focus on API development and database management.
Seasoned in end-to-end application development, adept at seamlessly merging front-end and back-end systems to deliver cohesive, functional solutions.
