Responsible for entering patron and title data into the system, organizing incoming mail, and participating in staff meetings to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
Ensure the proper organization and upkeep of both collection and library programs, providing necessary assistance and oversight to maintain their smooth operation.
Requirements
Hold an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Library Science, History, or an equivalent discipline.
Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, along with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities are essential.
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and a strong capacity for mastering new computer-integrated Library Systems are essential for this role.
Proficiency in a library or academic setting is considered a beneficial qualification.
Candidates must not exceed the age of 30 if they possess an Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
