We are in search of a Fixed Income Sales & Trading Specialist who possesses a proven track record in execution and extensive client-facing experience within the Nigerian fixed income market.

The position is centered on fixed income trading, sales, and distribution, with a primary objective of generating revenue through FGN Bonds, T-Bills, OMO bills, and corporate debt instruments.

The selected individual will interact with institutional and high-net-worth individual clients, facilitating transactions in the secondary market as well as participating in primary market initiatives.

Eligible candidates must possess current sponsorship by the SEC or qualify for prompt sponsorship.

Oversee daily operational tasks and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution, resolve challenges, and optimize workflows. Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to assess progress, identify trends, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development among team members.

We facilitate the trading and execution of Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Bonds, Treasury Bills (T-Bills), Open Market Operations (OMO) bills, and corporate debt instruments.

Deliver fixed income products to institutional and high-net-worth individual (HI) clients, expanding sales and distribution channels while fostering long-term relationships.

Deliver comprehensive analyses encompassing pricing trends, yield projections, and liquidity assessments.

Execute secondary market transactions and process client orders with precision and efficiency.

Provide assistance with primary market auctions and issuances.

Develop and nurture enduring client relationships centered on fixed income flow.

Deliver consistent market analyses and strategic investment perspectives to stakeholders.

Guarantee adherence to the regulatory frameworks established by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the FMDQ Securities Exchange, and the Nigerian Stock Exchange (USE).

Requirements

Accumulated 7 to 10 years of hands-on involvement in Nigeria’s fixed income markets, demonstrating deep technical expertise and market knowledge.

Seasoned professionals with substantial experience in fixed income sales, trading, or dealer desk operations are encouraged to apply.

Seasoned professionals with a strong background in client relationship management and transaction execution are encouraged to apply. Candidates should possess demonstrated experience in overseeing client portfolios and ensuring seamless deal execution. A proven track record in maintaining client satisfaction and driving successful transaction completion is highly desirable.

Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of pricing mechanisms, liquidity factors, and yield fluctuations.

A candidate who currently holds a Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) sponsorship or possesses eligibility for sponsorship is required for this position.

Exceptional interpersonal and analytical capabilities are required for this role.
