Main Functions:
Delivers critical business insights and analytical support to drive achievement and sustenance of expense, workforce, and volume objectives.
Ensures the accuracy and integrity of general ledger information by meticulously overseeing ledger entries and processing workflows.
Develops and evaluates financial performance reports assessing organizational outcomes.
Partners with department heads to formulate capital, expense, and personnel plans for strategic forecasting and budgetary allocation.
Offers specialized guidance on leveraging financial data effectively, ensuring compliance with established accounting guidelines, standards, procedures, and organizational policies.
Ensures accounting practices are implemented ethically and efficiently in all analyses.
Performs duties with moderate oversight, demonstrating strong proficiency and expertise relevant to the role.
This role, classified as a Senior Accountant, encompasses advanced responsibilities beyond standard accounting tasks, including the preparation of intricate journal entries and the thorough reconciliation of complex accounts.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, supplemented by a minimum of three years of experience in system administration or a comparable technical role. Proficiency in managing Linux and Windows servers, alongside virtualization platforms, is essential. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is required, along with a strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices. The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to maintaining high availability and performance standards for critical infrastructure. Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.

Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required, along with strong analytical capabilities, hands-on accounting experience, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with financial systems.
