Job Description: Liaise with key agencies including state and federal governments to ensure required support for the Fund’s programs & initiatives
Take inventory of all ongoing initiatives & agreements with the state government and identify opportunities for collaboration
Operationalize relevant agreements of corporate partnerships with specific stakeholders to promote synergies
Identify opportunities around regulation and policies that will improve operating conditions for MSME in specific geographical locations.
Engage regulators & stakeholders to advocate the implementation of policies & initiatives enhancing the operating conditions for MSMEs
Engage relevant business groups within the state, including business associations, clusters & cooperatives to create awareness on the Fund’s business development initiatives
Engage the LCDA’s as required to answer queries, business enquiries & requirements, complaints and develop strategies to address their requirements
Work with Local Government stakeholders to foster event development & skills to further develop their capacity to deliver quality sustainable events
Work with research & policy to conduct periodic research and identify ways of improving services and projects of local businesses
Conduct periodic reporting of progress with the initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field Knowledge & Skills
Good knowledge and understanding of the political terrain & grass-root politics
Previous experience with community relations (Added advantage)
10 years minimum experience
Possess sound relationship, leadership, analytical and communication skills together with evaluative judgment
Ability to develop and gain cooperation and assistance from the Fund’s board, the community and State/Federal Government and other relevant bodies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Both written and Oral)
Excellent project Management Skills
