The Junior Account Officer plays a vital role in bolstering the accounting team’s operations by executing routine financial transactions, preserving precise records, contributing to reconciliations, and upholding adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, robust analytical capabilities, and a steadfast dedication to the accuracy of financial documentation.

Providing support in the efficient and precise processing of vendor payments is required.

Assist with the completion of monthly vendor payment processing tasks to ensure timely and accurate disbursements.

Organize and systematically categorize documents for efficient record-keeping and regulatory compliance. Ensure all files are accurately maintained and easily accessible to meet organizational and legal requirements.

Ensuring precise alignment between vendor statements of account (SOA) and internal records, this role involves verifying the accuracy of financial data and addressing any discrepancies that arise.

Process and affix the PAID and FT stamps on all completed documents to ensure accurate record-keeping.

Address vendor inquiries promptly and professionally through email and other designated communication channels.

SKILL SET

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with 0–2 years of professional experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration.

Skilled in effective communication, meticulous attention to detail, and keen observational abilities.

Deliver exceptional customer service to cultivate positive shopping experiences, ensuring clients receive support and assistance throughout their interactions.

Must demonstrate the ability to foster and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration at all levels.

Exceptional attention to detail, innovative problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset are essential for this role.

Capable of managing multiple varied responsibilities concurrently while maintaining high productivity and efficiency.
