Key tasks and Responsibilities
Manage and control the Production Department to ensure safe and efficient functioning of all process facilities and operations
Responsible for operation, condition monitoring and troubleshooting of process plant, Central Control Room, relevant utility systems and equipment
Responsible for operation of safety control systems
Responsible for operation, monitoring and troubleshooting of subsea well control systems
Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting of turret/ swivel equipment
Responsible for process plant, Central Control Room and subsea systems start up and shut down operations
Responsible for meeting of production objectives
Responsible for optimization of chemicals consumption
Responsible for Laboratory operation and equipment
Responsible for planning of Production Department maintenance activities
Responsible for first line and preventive maintenance of process and relevant utility systems as per Computerised Maintenance Management System
Administer process plant and relevant utility systems modifications requests under management of change procedure
Responsible for maintaining process plant discharges and emissions within the limits
Develop and revise procedures and standing instructions for the Production Department
Ensure regulatory and class requirements are adhered to
Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning
Prepare budget and control expenditure
Responsible for sufficient stock of relevant consumables
Responsible for control of hazardous substances that are used/ stored within Production department
Liaise with OIM and other Department Heads for planning of maintenance and operation activities
Liaise with Client for production planning
Participate in the investigation of accidents and incidents. Administrate Company reporting system report
Ensure the Permit To Work system is controlled and adhered to as per requirements of the system
Responsible for the relevant Risk Assessments
Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Review information in database to ensure it is technically valid, accurate and up to date
Prepare and administer required reports. Maintain appropriate documentation
Responsible that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively
Undertake training relevant to the position requirements
Responsible for the training of subordinates and trainees
Responsible for competency assessment and performance evaluation of subordinates
Verify and review the Company’s Policies and procedures through the Offshore Management Review
Member of Emergency Response Team
Qualification requirementsEducation
Higher diploma / Degree in relevant Engineering discipline
Experience
Employer requires 10 years process plant experience in offshore facilities or marine vessels. Relevant experience in other environment will be considered
Skills
Good inter-personal and communications skills
Good management and supervisory skills
Good leadership skills
Good computer skills and knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
