Regional Business Development Manager

Job description

Objective/ Purpose: To grow the organisation’s business within the public sector MDAs of the Federal Government. It focuses on growth and the attainment of the organisation’s goals in an efficient and effective manner within the public sector MDAs in keeping with the company’s financial / business plan targets
Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

Initiate and develop relationships to drive the company’s public & private sector prospects
Drive sales for all products and services that the organization offers, including contact center services, Technology solutions, e.g. RADWARE, Mellanox,  CRM Solutions, Consultancy and Training
Identify new and strategic business opportunities in alignment with the vision of the organization
Develop innovative proposals and presentations that clearly demonstrate the unique value of the organization’s solutions
Develop annual marketing and sales plans for the public sector to meet organizational objectives
Manage the entire sales life cycle from Leads generation to sales closure
Responsible for end to end sales process; from initial contact and understanding of client needs to delivery and closure
Maintain an up-to-date and accurate record of all physical assets of the organization
Maintain the CRM database of the organization, utilizing it as a tool to enhance the sales process and relationship management
Serve as point of contact for all enquiries regarding the organization’s services and provide a first response to such enquiries ensuring follow up to possible closure
Working with product development teams (or external consultants) to manage new product/service development
Working with Project Management team to deliver on project implementation following sales closure
Represent the organization in all presentations, meetings, fairs, and conferences, as required.
Manage general office administration.

Education Qualification:

Minimum of a university degree in Social Sciences
MBA is an added advantage 

Professional Qualification

Membership of recognized Sales and/or marketing professional organisation.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience
Experience of Sales/Marketing to the public sector (Senior Executives (Ministers, Upper & Lower House Members, Permanent Secretaries, Directors, other Stakeholders) is required

Grade Alignment:

Senior Management
Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience
Experience of Sales/Marketing to the public sector is required
