Responsibilities
Ensure accurate book-keeping and posting of accounting transactions together with that required to assure completeness of the records i.e. End of period closing and posting of appropriate journal entries
Provide accurate and timely Management and Financial Accounts & Reports which includes:
Aged Analysis of Receivables,
Profit or Loss Statement,
Statement of Financial Position (Balance Sheet),
Cash-flow Statements,
Periodic Product costing and product profitability analysis report, etc.
Prepare Budget Actual Analysis together with variance analysis
Ensure effective Inventory management with other departments
Manage the business payables and ensures payments and/or remittances are in line with regulations and/or agreement with suppliers
Liaises with External Auditors and Tax Consultants
Ensures proper documentation for all financial transactions
Maintains open communication with management and the various departmental heads

Chief Financial Officer
Qualifications
Good first degree
Relevant professional Qualification, ACCA or ACA
Experience
Minimum of six (6) year experience, at least three of which must be in a manufacturing environment or the audit of manufacturing businesses
Required skills/attributes
Sound knowledge of accounting and accounting systems
Proper understanding of business processes and internal controls
Strong, proven accounting/controls background
Ability to plan, organise and manage tasks
Ability to document results, form conclusions and make recommendations
Ability to interpret and report on accounting/financial data
Good report writing and interpersonal skills
