BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:Position/Program Description: Under the supervision of the Abuja Cultural Affairs Officer and the Educational Advising Supervisor, the Opportunity Grant / Education Advising Technician provides all administrative support in handling Educational and Opportunity Grant programs for graduate and undergraduate students. University degree in any of the social sciences, education, or business is required.
Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in administrative work, out of which one should be in educational establishment.
Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading in English is required.
Level III (Good working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading of host country language is required. Language Proficiency will be tested.
A strong knowledge of Nigerian educational system with a basic understanding of
U.S. educational system is required.
Good oral and written communication, customer service skills are required.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Excel and or Access packages and knowledge of social media are required.
