Responsibilities
Single Point of contact for all training content development and delivery occurring in the Region. Oversees the region’s utilization of the company’s learning management system (LMS) and reporting of training activity and metrics and set volume of training being scheduled for all work groups in the region. Responsible for the process, framework, design and delivery of all training within the region that is not addressed by FMCTU Schools, such as project specific or other ad hoc training needs whilst maintain FMCTU standards.
Main Tasks
Manage and run the regional Learning Center(s), in the absence of a Learning Center Manager and act as local manager for all FMCTU resources in Region
Daily follow up of shared Learning Center and shared services personnel
Interface with FMCTU School Program Managers to implement global training programs
Interface FMCTU and Knowledge Management leadership (e.g. Academic Services and Information Management) team to drive continuous improvement of Learning Solutions, systems, methods and tools (LMS etc.)
Lead, Develop and Implement Learning Solutions for specific local and regional business needs not covered by FMCTU
Lead, Develop and implement interim Learning Solutions based on Project specific or Contractual requirement, e.g. local content training, in collaboration with local, regional and global stakeholders.
Drive development and collaboration in Local, National and Regional training networks and be a central participant and contributor in Global FMCTU Training Networks
Be a part of the recruitment process of new employees into a University related role
Responsible for interfacing graduate/ rotational programs e.g. Graduate Engineering Program, Service Apprentice Programs, System Engineering Trainees, and others
Develop relevant KPI’s and report on these
Run continuous verifications and follow-up
Implement FMCTU Systems for Measurement of Effectiveness of Learning Solutions and Return on Investment
Drive continuous improvement of the training strategy, modern learning methods and learning technology, and interface with FMCTU Online Learning Team
Manage and ensure development and implementation of the local Competency Systems and audits of Training, Competency and Talent Management for the local business in line with FMCTU governance
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelors Degree • Master’s Degree is an added advantage• 8 years of work experience within the industry and/or within educational systems• 10 years of work experience within the industry and within a learning/training function• Leadership experience or proven management and coordination skills• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and lead others• Excellent collaboration skills• Analytical, structured and systematic • The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision• Demonstrated ability to gain support from peers and managers to implement change without direct supervisory control• Excellent influencing skills• Strong presentation and communication abilities at all organizational levels• Strong written and verbal skills in Regional Language(s) and English• Demonstrate the company’s core values
