Job Description
Must sign-in and sign-out every working day at the Boat Yard
Should clean, organize, and maintain the ferry at all time
Must work as a Team with every member of staff
Steer the Boat safely and smoothly on the river
Should adhere to maritime safety rules
Must ensure all Passengers and crew wear a life Jacket before boarding
Must be able to berth and moor the boat
Be pleasant and cheerful when dealing with customers
Entry Requirement
OND in Nautical Science
He MUST have an INLAND WATERS NAVIGATION CERTIFICATE (Quarter Master Certificate)
He must have a certificate of competency in Officer-in-charge of Navigational watch
He should be between the ages of 18 to 35
Must be physically fit
He should have served on a powered craft in the deck department of not less than One (1) year
He must also possess the four mandatory certificates.
