Avery Nigeria Limited is currently recruiting a Sales Representative to enhance our Sales and Marketing department. The successful applicant must be based in Benin City, Edo State, and will be tasked with promoting and selling the company’s offerings to prospective clients.

Oversee and execute all assigned tasks with precision, ensuring adherence to established standards and timelines. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Manage daily operations with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and accountability. Identify opportunities for improvement in workflows and implement strategic solutions to drive performance. Maintain clear documentation of activities, outcomes, and metrics to support data-driven decision-making. Serve as a key liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and alignment of objectives. Monitor progress, address challenges proactively, and provide regular updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.

The role involves promoting and selling the company’s products and services to both new and current customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

Demonstrating and presenting product offerings while actively establishing new business relationships is essential. This role involves showcasing the benefits and features of our services to potential clients and effectively communicating their value proposition. Additionally, it requires proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.

Responsible for ensuring the precision and integrity of all documentation, maintaining meticulous and error-free records in accordance with established protocols.

Analyzing quarterly sales performance metrics to evaluate progress against established targets and identify key trends is a critical aspect of this role.

Responsible for engaging in contract and package negotiations, strategically aligning terms to meet organizational objectives while ensuring mutual benefit for all involved parties.

Addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and managing complaints with professionalism and efficiency.

Compiling and dispatching quotes and proposals constitutes a key responsibility.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or a comparable role.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring junior engineers and driving technical initiatives.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Demonstrates exceptional ability in customer service and sales, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in both areas.

Effective in articulating ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in verbal communication and delivering compelling presentations.

Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced capabilities in Excel, with the ability to create, edit, and analyze spreadsheets efficiently.

Exceptional proficiency in negotiation and problem resolution is essential.

A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
