The In-Country Officer will be an employee of UKEAS in Nigeria with the sole purpose of supporting Glasgow Caledonian University. You will be based within the Victoria Island UKEAS office in Nigeria and will be responsible for recruitment and the follow up of prospective students on behalf of Glasgow Caledonian University. You will provide administrative support to manage students’ applications and will liaise with the University to ensure that applicants are kept updated about their application and are processed as smoothly and efficientry as possible. Essential Requirements:
A graduate degree with a minimum 2nd class lower division
Must be able to work in a customer-facing environment
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal supervision
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to multitask as well as a high degree of attention to detail
Experience of sociai media for marketing purposes
To undertake extensive travel across Nigeria for PR activities and to conduct student interview sessions, pre-departure briefings and student counselling
Target driven
Specialisation: Student recruitment, customer service and office support Required experience: 3 years’ post-NYSC experience
