Main Functions
To oversee the execution of the Project Quality Plan within the designated scope of work, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and protocols.
Conduct instructional sessions for essential personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Develop and implement Surveillance Plans to oversee the execution of Surveillance Programs, while continuously monitoring and auditing performance to ensure adherence to established standards and protocols.
Report any identified quality concerns, project status updates, and relevant metrics to the Project Management team. Additionally, communicate key learnings and insights gained from the project to ensure continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
Oversee initiatives aimed at addressing quality-related concerns and enhancing quality assurance processes.
You may initially fulfill the responsibilities of either Procurement Quality Coordinator (PQC) or Site Quality Coordinator (SQC) until a permanent assignment is designated.
Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with established protocols and best practices. Manage a team of professionals, delegating assignments and assessing performance to drive productivity and efficiency. Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, reduce operational costs, and enhance service delivery. Foster a culture of quality consciousness across the entire project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to established standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure the establishment and correct execution of sufficient control processes within the subproject Project Team (PT), in accordance with the Project guidelines.
Develop a comprehensive Project Quality Plan, ensuring alignment with the overall project strategy and objectives, while establishing clear quality standards, metrics, and methodologies to monitor and enhance project performance throughout its lifecycle.
Oversee the Contractor’s execution of their Quality program and ensure adherence to all specified project requirements.
Responsible for granting approval to the Contractor’s Quality organization and evaluating the performance of essential Quality Assurance (QA) personnel.
Examine the Contractor’s standard contract and purchase order specifications pertaining to quality requirements to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
Review and authorize the Contractor’s Quality Plan, as well as the Inspection and Test Plans (Its), ensuring compliance with established standards and project requirements.
Conduct regular, scheduled evaluations of the Contractor’s operations to assess and oversee the execution of their Quality Management systems.
Engage in the evaluation process to qualify prospective Subcontractors or Suppliers for potential partnerships.
Ensure the Contractor’s surveillance activities align with the Criticality Ratings assigned to each system or component.
Review the Contractor’s quality audit schedule, oversee the Contractor’s audit program implementation, and take part in selected audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Develop a comprehensive Quality Plan in collaboration with the Procurement Quality Coordinator (PQC) to evaluate the quality standards of suppliers responsible for delivering critical equipment and materials.
The Contractor must consistently deliver high-quality reports in strict accordance with the terms outlined in the contract.
Oversee and conduct thorough evaluations of the execution of PT Procurement and Construction Surveillance Programs to ensure compliance and adherence to established standards.
Deliver comprehensive quality training sessions tailored to specific requirements as needed.
Develop and oversee the subproject Audit Schedule, perform on-site audits within subprojects, and provide support to the Quality Manager in conducting project audits as required.
Evaluate performance indicators from engineering, procurement, and construction sites to detect discrepancies and support problem-solving efforts.
Provide support to the function in identifying and selecting appropriate Statistical Quality Control (SQC) positions, while also aiding site teams in the recruitment and assessment of inspector candidates.
Oversee the Procurement and Construction Surveillance Programs until the designated coordinator, such as the Project Quality Coordinator (PQC) or Site Quality Coordinator (SQC), is officially assigned.
Review and support the preparation of the Quality component of site close-out reports as needed.
Provide guidance and updates to the Project Manager and Quality Manager regarding quality-related concerns, current status, and performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to industry best practices and the organization’s established lessons learned, while actively identifying and disseminating newly acquired knowledge as needed.
Seeking a motivated individual with a minimum of three years of experience in a relevant field, preferably holding a degree in [specific field, if applicable]. Professional Rewriting:
A proven track record in overseeing quality assurance and control processes for field construction and completions operations is required.
Technical discipline certifications aligning with the candidate’s professional experience are required for this role, ensuring a demonstrated level of expertise in the relevant field.
Able to undertake business travel, both domestically and internationally, to project locations as required, offering varying degrees of assistance.
Individuals with a proven track record in overseeing Quality Management responsibilities and facilitating quality-related initiatives for diverse facilities within the Oil and Gas sector are encouraged to apply. Professionals should possess extensive international exposure in collaborating with contractors and suppliers engaged in production facility projects.
Experience in client-facing capacities on significant production facility projects is advantageous.
Proficiency in executing projects from inception to completion, coupled with thorough documentation practices essential for operational handover, is required.
Preferred qualifications include certifications or training in auditing and inspection disciplines.
