Job Summary
The Project Manager (Branch Expansion) will spearhead the full lifecycle of launching new company outlets, overseeing all expansion initiatives to ensure timely delivery, strict adherence to budget constraints, and alignment with organizational brand and operational benchmarks.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing critical operational and strategic functions, including the planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives performance and accountability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as necessary. Serve as a primary liaison with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment of expectations, and resolution of issues to support seamless operations. Analyze complex data and trends to inform decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and mitigate potential risks.
Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, and key milestones for newly established retail locations.
Collaborate effectively with various internal departments, including operations, design, procurement, legal, and HR, as well as external contractors to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
Identify, assess, and oversee appropriate locations for upcoming outlets in alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
Responsible for managing the fit-out, construction, and renovation processes for new locations to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
Oversee the complete acquisition and maintenance of all necessary licensing, permits, and regulatory approvals essential for the establishment of new outlets.
Develop and implement comprehensive operational readiness checklists to ensure all systems and processes are prepared for launch. Additionally, supervise and coordinate pre-opening activities to verify that every operational requirement is fulfilled seamlessly.
Monitor project advancement, detect potential risks, and execute contingency measures to ensure objectives are met efficiently.
Oversee financial planning, vendor negotiations, and procurement processes to ensure the successful execution of fit-out projects.
Compile and deliver comprehensive project status updates to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and precision in communication.
Capture and document key insights from each expansion initiative to enhance the efficacy of forthcoming project executions.

Demonstrates a strong history of successfully overseeing multi-site expansion or fit-out initiatives.
Experts excel in coordinating tasks, devising strategic plans, and effectively engaging with stakeholders.
Demonstrates a solid grasp of construction methodologies, facility management protocols, and regulatory frameworks within Lagos.
Skilled in leveraging project management software such as MS Project and Asana, among others, is essential.
Skilled in facilitating agreements, conveying ideas clearly, and resolving challenges effectively.
