Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Develop and execute financial strategies that align with our business goals.
Drive strategic decision – making by providing actionable financial insights to the executive team
Operational Excellence:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Optimize cash flow management
Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reducing cost overruns and maximizing profitability.
Team Leadership & Development:
Mentor and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Encourage professional development and create succession plans to support the evolving needs of the business.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Liaise with external partners, including banks, investors, and auditors, to build and maintain strong relationships.
Present financial performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.
5 – 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 – 5 years in a senior management role.
Proven track record of strategic financial leadership and operational excellence in a fast – paced, growth – oriented environment.
In – depth knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance standards in Nigeria.
Strong analytical, decision – making, and communication skills.
Experience in leading high – performing teams and driving organizational change.
Proficiency in financial software; advanced Excel skills required
