Job Summary
The Chief of Staff will serve as the primary strategic partner to the CEO/COO, ensuring that the leadership team’s vision is translated into actionable results. You will act as a bridge between the executive office and departmental leads (HR, Engineering, Finance, Sales), driving organizational governance, managing high-priority projects, and optimizing executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment & Governance
Oversee the implementation of OKRs and KPIs across the organization to ensure departmental goals align with the 2026 corporate strategy.
Coordinate executive leadership meetings—preparing agendas, capturing action items, and ensuring follow-through.
Act as a surrogate for the Principal in meetings where their presence is not strictly required but their influence is needed.
Operational Excellence
Partner with HR and Finance to streamline internal processes, such as payroll automation, performance management cycles, and policy enforcement.
Identify and resolve “bottlenecks” in cross-departmental workflows (e.g., between Product/Engineering and Sales/Coverage).
Manage the executive office budget and prioritize resource allocation for special initiatives.
Special Projects & Growth
Lead high-stakes projects that do not yet have a “natural home” in the existing organizational structure (e.g., international expansion, new product launches, or sponsorship negotiations).
Conduct market research and due diligence for potential partnerships or acquisitions.
Draft executive communications, board decks, and internal memos that reflect the Principal’s voice and strategic intent.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies (SEC, NSE), and institutional partners.
Serve as an impartial sounding board for the CEO, providing candid feedback on organizational health and culture.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology is a significant advantage.
Minimum of 6 –10 years of professional experience, ideally in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or a leadership role within a Fintech/Tech startup.
Advanced data analysis and financial modeling skills; ability to derive insights from multi-source data.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence senior leaders and “manage up.”
High emotional intelligence, absolute discretion, and a “get things done” mindset.
