Job Overview

A digital strategist leads the planning and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies, utilizing various digital channels such as social media, email marketing, SEO, and paid media.

The ideal candidate combines creativity, analytical skills, and technical know-how to deliver impactful digital campaigns. By focusing on metrics and customer experience, a digital strategist ensures all initiatives drive measurable success while aligning with the brand’s messaging and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Developing strategies. Create data-driven digital marketing strategies tailored to the target audience and aligned with business goals. Strategic planning should incorporate SEO, paid media, and email marketing to maximize reach.

Analyzing metrics. Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track campaign performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies. This analysis also includes monitoring metrics like engagement rates, website traffic, and conversions.

Overseeing digital campaigns. Manage digital campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and KPIs, including social media strategy and paid search efforts.

Collaborating. Work closely with the marketing team, social media manager, and other stakeholders to execute cohesive campaigns that reflect the company’s vision.

Implementing SEO. Optimize digital content for search engines to enhance visibility, improve organic traffic, and meet search engine optimization standards.

Managing social media. Oversee social media strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement across social media platformswhile leveraging analytics to refine campaigns.

Designing content. Collaborate with graphic design and content creation teams to produce high-quality digital content that aligns with user experience goals.

Monitoring market trends. Stay updated on digital marketing trends and tools to ensure strategies remain innovative and competitive in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Executing email campaigns. Planning and managing email marketing initiatives to engage the audience and nurture leads, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

Education. A Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Communication, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Advanced certifications in SEO, SEM, or analytics toolsare advantageous.

Experience. At least 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or a similar role, preferably within the digital media or e-commerce sectors.

Analytical skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools to assess campaign performance and derive actionable insights for optimization.

Technical skills. Familiarity with CRM platforms, content management systems, and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and marketing automation platforms.

Communication skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.

SEO expertise. In-depth knowledge of search engine optimization and SEM best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.

Project management. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

Adaptability. Flexibility to adjust strategies based on analytics, industry trends, and evolving customer needs.

Creative mindset. Strong problem-solvingskills and creativity to design impactful digital campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
