Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially savvy, and entrepreneurial senior Relationship Manager to strengthen our Wealth Management team.
This position is pivotal to the firm’s expansion strategy. The ideal candidate will spearhead the development of new ultra-high net-worth (UH NW) client relationships and expand Assets Under Management (AUM).
Oversee and execute core duties essential to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Deliver high-quality results through meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approaches. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices to uphold accountability and transparency. Provide timely reports and updates to stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and innovation.
Business Development and Client Acquisition: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding market reach to drive revenue growth and enhance client portfolios. Responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and developing tailored strategies to attract and retain high-value clients. Requirements encompass a proven track record in sales or business development, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and the ability to meet aggressive revenue targets. Additionally, proficiency in CRM tools, excellent communication abilities, and a results-driven mindset are essential for success in this role.
Develop and establish new relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients by leveraging personal connections, professional referrals, and targeted outreach initiatives.
Identify and capitalize on emerging prospects across key markets including Abu Dhabi, Lagos, London, Chicago, and Dubai, while formulating and implementing a strategic business development framework in accordance with organizational expansion goals.
Articulate the Firm’s unique value proposition to prospective clients and intermediary partners with clarity and conviction.
Establish enduring and strategic partnerships with prospects by guiding them through a consultative process to transform them into loyal, long-term advisory clients.
Ensure the preservation and growth of client Assets Under Management (AUM) through strategic oversight and proactive management practices.
To deliver substantial increases in Assets Under Management (AUM), you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding predefined revenue and AUM growth objectives while fostering and sustaining strong client relationships.
Act as the main point of contact and dedicated relationship manager for designated clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded through consistent communication and tailored service delivery.
Acquire a comprehensive grasp of clients’ financial ambitions, tolerance for risk, and strategic objectives over an extended horizon.
Collaborate closely with the Investment Advisory team to develop and implement customized portfolio solutions.
Deliver exceptional service to established clients to foster long-term loyalty while identifying opportunities to expand their engagement and increase revenue through targeted cross-selling initiatives.
Oversee the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing revenue generation and optimizing overall performance metrics.
Drive consistent growth in assets under management (AUM) and revenue, aligning with established targets and objectives.
Track and evaluate the financial performance of client engagements to ensure sustained profitability and identify opportunities for revenue optimization.
Explore avenues to expand revenue potential from current client engagements by identifying additional needs and cross-selling opportunities.
Facilitate pricing discussions and engage in fee negotiations in accordance with established firm policy to ensure consistency and transparency.
We play a pivotal role in advancing the firm’s strategic financial goals while reinforcing its brand equity and market standing.
Act as a distinguished ambassador for the Firm at key industry events, prominent networking functions, and exclusive private forums.
Develop and nurture partnerships with key professional intermediaries, including legal practitioners, financial advisors, trust specialists, and corporate consultants.
Elevate the firm’s prominence among ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices to amplify market presence.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in software development or a closely related discipline. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms. Familiarity with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL, as well as experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment are also required.
A minimum of ten years of demonstrated expertise in private banking, wealth management, family office operations, or asset management is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
An MBA, CFA, CSI, or CFP designation—or a comparable credential—is highly desirable for this role.
Established expertise in cultivating and maintaining high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UH NW) client relationships is highly desirable.
Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of multi-asset investment strategies and financial instruments, encompassing a wide range of products and solutions.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and consistently achieving predetermined performance benchmarks.
With a proven track record in overseeing intricate, multi-jurisdictional client engagements, you will bring extensive experience in managing relationships across diverse legal and regulatory frameworks. Your expertise will ensure seamless coordination and compliance in complex international environments, while maintaining high standards of client satisfaction and service delivery.
