Job Summary
The Executive Driver will deliver safe, efficient, and professional transportation services to senior management and staff, as needed. This position demands a strong grasp of road safety regulations, diligent vehicle maintenance practices, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Oversee a spectrum of critical duties encompassing project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning to ensure operational excellence and alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives forward, resolve complex challenges, and deliver measurable outcomes. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and productivity. Serve as a liaison between departments, fostering clear communication and coordination to maintain cohesive workflows. Additionally, prepare comprehensive reports, analyze data trends, and present insights to leadership to inform decision-making processes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability.
Ensure the secure and punctual conveyance of executives, staff, and clients to their specified locations.
Ensure the assigned vehicle remains in optimal condition by regularly attending to cleanliness, maintenance, and fuel requirements.
Maintain adherence to traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies to ensure full compliance.
Plan routes meticulously, proactively identify potential traffic challenges, and guarantee punctual deliveries at all times.
Accurately document trip details, mileage, and fuel consumption in the required logs to ensure precise record-keeping.
Provide support with errands, parcel deliveries, and official assignments.
Promptly report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or necessary repairs to the appropriate personnel or department.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum three years of hands-on software development experience, preferably in a full-stack capacity. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and experience with Agile methodologies. Understanding of web development frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
A high school diploma or its equivalent, such as a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC), is required.
A valid driver’s license, along with an impeccable driving history, is required.
With a minimum of five years in professional driving, ideally gained in executive or corporate environments, you possess the necessary expertise.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of Lagos’ road networks and traffic dynamics.
Punctuality, reliability, and strict adherence to confidentiality are essential qualities for this role.
Demonstrates professionalism, maintains a polished appearance, and prioritizes exceptional customer service.
Must reside in Ajax or on Lagos Island.
