Job Summary
The Signage Operator (Installation) will be responsible for managing the installation, upkeep, and removal of both indoor and outdoor advertising materials.
The ideal candidate will oversee the flawless implementation of signage projects, manage installation teams, uphold stringent quality and safety protocols, and assist field operations spanning various sites.
This position is ideal for a technically adept professional with hands-on expertise in signage installation and the management of outdoor advertising initiatives.
Key Duties Include
Overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless workflow efficiency and adherence to established protocols. Managing and motivating a high-performing team to achieve departmental objectives and targets. Developing and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. Collaborating with cross-functional departments to align goals and streamline processes. Monitoring performance metrics and conducting regular evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies. Preparing and presenting detailed reports to senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
Install, maintain, repair, and remove various types of signage, including indoor and outdoor advertising structures, billboards, banners, and branding materials.
Responsible for installing and servicing illuminated signage, lighting systems, and electrical components integral to advertising displays.
Perform comprehensive site evaluations to determine precise installation prerequisites prior to commencing project activities.
Oversee the planning and execution of installation projects by directing and managing installation crews, contractors, and field technicians as needed.
Verify that every installation strictly adheres to the prescribed specifications, project timelines, and mandatory safety protocols.
Oversee the ongoing condition of installed signage systems, evaluating them for any signs of wear, damage, or deterioration, and propose appropriate maintenance actions or replacement initiatives as required.
Oversee the upkeep of installation tools, equipment, and materials to guarantee their proper usage and secure storage.
Investigate and address technical challenges associated with signage structures, lighting systems, and mounting solutions to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
You will collaborate with clients, landlords, vendors, and regulatory authorities as needed throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
Compile comprehensive field reports, detailed installation records, maintenance logs, and ongoing status updates to ensure accurate documentation and effective communication of project progress and findings.
You must uphold adherence to organizational policies, occupational health and safety protocols, and relevant industry benchmarks to maintain regulatory and procedural integrity.
Assist with various operational activities within the outdoor advertising business as directed.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Must possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is required, along with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering results within deadlines are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
A minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in signage installation, outdoor advertising operations, branding, fabrication, or a closely related technical discipline is required.
Proficiency in the installation, upkeep, and repair of both indoor and outdoor signage systems, including expertise in mounting techniques and maintenance protocols, is required.
Proficiency in the installation and maintenance of illuminated signage, electrical fittings, and lighting components is highly beneficial.
Proficient in interpreting installation diagrams, technical measurements, and detailed site specifications.
Proficient in safety protocols and working at elevated levels.
Capable of overseeing field teams and managing the scheduling of multiple installation projects.
Able to meet the physical demands of the role and available for travel to various project sites as needed.
Proven ability to analyze complex situations, develop innovative solutions, and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and objectives.
Demonstrates strong self-motivation and the capacity to manage tasks efficiently with little to no oversight.
A valid driver’s license is considered a favorable qualification.
