Job Summary
The Assistant Field Manager will provide support to a New Incentives program that leverages cash transfers to incentivize mothers in adhering to their infants’ immunization schedules.
The initiative is conducted in collaboration with the State Primary Healthcare Development Board in the Northwest and Northeast regions.
The Assistant Field Manager is responsible for supporting Field Managers in executing cash transfer disbursements at public clinics to enhance immunization coverage and retention. Key responsibilities include ensuring high-quality program operations at designated clinics and providing leadership to selected staff to drive improved immunization coverage and retention, while also fostering strong relationships with employees, clinic personnel, and relevant stakeholders.
Assistant Field Managers are hired on a full-time basis to oversee Field Officers at clinics across our operational states.
The successful applicant must currently reside in or have convenient access to accommodation within any of the operational towns or Local Government Areas across all states where the role may be based, and should demonstrate a willingness to relocate as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is a prerequisite for this role. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development is essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is mandatory. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting are crucial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to convey technical concepts effectively. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is also expected.
A diploma in Health or a related Natural Science discipline is required, with preference given to candidates holding an ND qualification.
Proficiency in the local languages and dialects used across all operational regions, with particular emphasis on Hausa, is essential.
Demonstrates flexibility to perform duties at remote public clinics and field assignments for a minimum of four days each week.
Proficiency in the Nigerian healthcare system and clinic documentation, with a focus on infant health and vaccination protocols, is essential.
Desired expertise includes the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret health-related data to derive meaningful insights and conclusions.
