Job Summary
As an HVAC Technician, your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial air conditioning systems, with a strong focus on Direct Expansion (DX) and Chilled Water Systems.
Oversee a diverse range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance analysis to ensure organizational objectives are met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, resolve challenges, and foster innovation. Monitor key performance indicators, evaluate outcomes, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement. Serve as a liaison between departments, facilitating clear communication and alignment of goals. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry benchmarks while maintaining a focus on risk management and quality assurance.
Conduct systematic and proactive maintenance on HVAC systems to sustain peak operational efficiency and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions affecting components such as compressors, motors, and control systems.
Install HVAC systems while adhering to technical specifications to guarantee accurate and efficient setup.
Perform testing and commissioning procedures for air conditioning systems while compiling comprehensive commissioning reports.
Maintain adherence to all safety standards and operational procedures consistently throughout all activities and operations.
Requirements
Holders of SSC qualifications complemented by accredited HVAC training or an official Trade Test Certificate are eligible to apply.
With a minimum of five years of practical experience in direct expansion (DX) and chilled water systems, the ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on expertise in this specialized field.
Proficient in conducting electrical troubleshooting, interpreting wiring diagrams, and executing both brazing and soldering techniques with precision.
Proficient communication abilities and a strong aptitude for collaborative work are essential.
