Lipline’s autonomous drone system, capable of long-range flights, has already facilitated the delivery of millions of medical products across the continent of Africa.
We are currently growing our operations in Nigeria and are in search of a Construction and Deployments Lead to manage all construction and deployment initiatives across the country.
This senior position oversees the establishment of Lipline distribution centers nationwide, spearheading in-country teams to uphold operational excellence from initial site acquisition and permitting phases through construction, vendor coordination, and final operational handover.
You will act as the primary liaison, facilitating seamless communication and alignment between local teams and global stakeholders spanning Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, and Partnerships. In this role, you will ensure every launch adheres to Lipline’s global benchmarks while accommodating Nigeria’s unique regulatory and operational requirements.

What You’ll Do
Develop and implement deployment strategies and oversee their execution for every new Lipline distribution center to be established across Nigeria.
Facilitate effective collaboration between Nigeria-based teams and global stakeholders to guarantee smooth implementation of various deployments, consistently fulfilling partner requirements.
Collaborate with Nigerian government entities, regulatory bodies, and municipal authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals while fostering productive partnerships.
Proactively evaluate and secure suitable sites that align with Lipline’s established technical, operational, and business criteria to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
Establish and oversee a robust network of Nigerian suppliers and contractors, prioritizing cost-effectiveness while maintaining stringent standards for quality and dependability in all site operations.
Oversee in-country financial allocations, schedules, and resource allocation, carefully evaluating tradeoffs to optimize the balance between rapid execution, cost efficiency, and sustained operational performance.
Recruit, cultivate, and guide a team of deployment project managers to drive operational excellence and project success.
Capture and integrate insights gained from experiences to consistently enhance Lipline’s worldwide deployment playbook.
Deliver insightful, evidence-based reports to senior management regarding progress, potential risks, and overall performance.
What You’ll Bring
With a minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in construction, engineering, or program management—including at least three years in a leadership capacity—you bring a strong foundation of expertise and proven capability to guide teams and projects effectively.
Demonstrated ability to successfully execute large-scale, technically intricate projects in Nigeria, spanning the entire project lifecycle from inception to final delivery.
Experienced professionals with substantial engagement in interactions with Nigerian regulatory authorities, proficiency in managing permitting procedures, and familiarity with local contractor networks will be prioritized.
Proven track record in leading and cultivating in-country project teams to drive successful outcomes.
Accomplished in project management and organization, with a strong capacity to prioritize tasks and make strategic trade-offs while operating under pressure.
Able to liaise proficiently with partners, contractors, and government officials, ensuring clear and effective communication while representing Lipline with professionalism and diplomacy.
A systems-oriented mindset, coupled with the capacity to develop scalable processes tailored to specific local conditions.
Thriving in unpredictable, dynamic settings requires a steadfast commitment to perseverance, adaptability, and resilience.
Able to commit to traveling throughout Nigeria, covering over 50% of the role’s requirements.
