Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Property Manager to oversee our property portfolio and ensure strong relationships with landlords, property owners, and tenants.

The successful applicant should possess a valid legal qualification with extensive expertise in property management, demonstrating proficiency in handling tenancy-related legal matters, resolving property disputes, and fostering productive stakeholder relationships.

Oversee and execute critical duties associated with the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and maintaining high standards of performance. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive efficiency, productivity, and growth within the assigned domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and enhance operational effectiveness. Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and provide data-driven insights to support informed decision-making. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and facilitating seamless communication. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices, while upholding accountability and ethical standards. Contribute to long-term planning by assessing risks, forecasting trends, and proposing innovative solutions to meet evolving business demands.

Oversee interactions between landlords, property owners, and tenants while representing property owners in the management of designated properties.

Skilled in attracting and securing qualified tenants by implementing strategic property marketing initiatives, leveraging referral networks, and utilizing approved channels to ensure optimal occupancy.

Perform comprehensive tenant screenings, verify guarantor credentials, and assess referral profiles to ensure compliance and reliability.

Prepare, review, and oversee the administration of tenancy agreements, lease documents, and all other property-related legal paperwork to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Conduct legal assessments of properties and projects, offering strategic advice to minimize potential legal exposures and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Ensure adherence to all relevant property laws, regulations, and internal company policies.

Collaborate with facility managers and external service providers to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of managed properties.

Thoroughly address and settle tenant complaints and disputes with a high level of professionalism and efficiency.

Perform regular assessments of both occupied and vacant properties to ensure their upkeep and compliance with established standards.

Oversee the creation, implementation, and adherence to occupancy policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Develop regular reports analyzing property performance metrics, tenancy status updates, occupancy levels, and departmental operational activities.

Deliver comprehensive and timely reports to management regarding the status and performance of all properties within the company’s portfolio.

Work closely with various departments to facilitate seamless service delivery and support the realization of organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential, as is strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The position demands meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently are also key qualifications for this role.

Obtained an LL.B degree and completed qualification as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (BL).

A minimum of three to five years of practical experience in Property Management, Real Estate, or Property Law is required.

Proficient understanding of tenancy regulations, lease management, and property-related documentation is essential.

Exceptional proficiency in negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management is essential for this role.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in crafting comprehensive reports and conducting thorough data analysis.

Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Proven capability to handle diverse tasks concurrently while maintaining high productivity levels with minimal oversight.
