The Warehouse Facility Manager oversees the physical integrity of Sun King’s warehouse operations, ensuring operational preparedness, strict safety compliance, adherence to lease agreements, robust security protocols, effective asset management, and sustainable facility practices.
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the warehouse in full compliance with all operational, regulatory, and organizational requirements, thereby facilitating seamless daily activities for the warehouse team free from physical or environmental disruptions.
What you would be expected to do
Facility Operations camp; Vendor Management: Oversees the efficient functioning of facility operations while ensuring seamless vendor relationships. Manages day-to-day maintenance, coordinates with external vendors for services, and maintains compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Tracks vendor performance, negotiates contracts, and resolves issues to optimize operational efficiency. Requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in facilities management or a related field.
You will be responsible for managing the warehouse facility’s day-to-day operations, ensuring all services—including utilities, security, maintenance, HVAC, racking, and mechanical systems—operate at peak efficiency and that any service disruptions are addressed promptly.

Lease Compliance, Legal & Risk Management: This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to lease agreements, managing legal obligations, and mitigating potential risks associated with property leases. Key duties include interpreting lease terms, monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating with legal teams to resolve disputes or address breaches. Additionally, the position involves conducting risk assessments, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and maintaining accurate documentation to support audit trails and regulatory reporting. Demonstrates adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and established safety protocols, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
Act as the principal Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) liaison for the warehouse facility, ensuring consistent adherence to Sun King’s HSE protocols, applicable local regulatory mandates, and fire safety guidelines at all times.

Oversee that all warehouse staff are equipped with the necessary and properly functioning personal protective equipment (PPE), while actively maintaining and restocking PPE supplies to prevent shortages.

Maintain all health, safety, and environmental records, permits, and compliance certificates in a systematic, audit-ready manner at all times.

Maintain a current and comprehensive registry of all warehouse assets—such as racking systems, forklifts, pallet trucks, scanners, furniture, tools, and equipment—ensuring accurate documentation of condition, maintenance records, and scheduled service intervals.
Implement comprehensive tracking systems to monitor all facility assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping and accountability. Conduct regular audits to verify the alignment of asset and supplies records, while confirming proper usage and custody protocols are maintained.
Coordinate all scheduled and preventive maintenance activities for warehouse equipment to guarantee its safety, certification, and operational readiness prior to authorizing its use.
Oversee the procurement and availability of essential facility supplies, guaranteeing that critical items remain in stock through vigilant monitoring and timely forecasting to prevent potential shortages.
Cost optimization, reporting and sustainability are integral to this role, which involves developing and executing strategies to reduce operational expenses, enhance financial transparency and ensure compliance with environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards. The position requires proficiency in financial analysis, budget management and data-driven decision-making, along with a strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and regulatory requirements.
