Position Summary

Under the guidance of the Deputy Country Director – Programs and in coordination with the Regional Technical Protection Coordinator (functional link), the incumbent is responsible for formulating thematic approaches and methodologies integral to the Protection strategy, ensuring their adaptation and systematic implementation at the national level.

He or she plays a key role in programmatic leadership by overseeing the execution and monitoring of Protection indicators within the Nigeria Delegation, as well as validating the indicators and their corresponding analyses.

He or she provides technical assistance and guidance to Protection operations, projects, or approaches at the delegation level.

He or she is responsible for disseminating Protection knowledge and best practices to the TDI Nigeria Delegation teams through training sessions and coaching initiatives.

He or she is responsible for overseeing knowledge management initiatives in coordination with the Protection delegation.

He or she guarantees that projects and interventions in Protection adhere to both international standards and Terry DES homes’ (TDI) specific guidelines, ensuring consistent quality and alignment throughout.
