Job Summary
We seek a seasoned Lead, Planning and Design to manage the planning and design of FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) network infrastructure. This professional will spearhead a team of engineers and technicians to create efficient, cost-effective fiber network designs while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and in accordance with business goals.
Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution to drive organizational success. Foster collaboration across departments to align resources with key objectives while ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and optimize performance metrics. Monitor progress through data-driven analysis, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and senior management. Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and sustainable growth. Maintain strong communication channels to ensure clarity, accountability, and alignment with overarching business goals.
Spearhead the strategic planning and architectural design of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network infrastructure.
Design network architectures that satisfy both technical specifications and business objectives.
Optimize fiber network routes to enhance operational efficiency and minimize both capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX).
Provide leadership and assistance to network planning engineers and design technicians to ensure effective project execution and operational efficiency.
Work collaboratively with various departments to facilitate the on-time completion of projects.
Ensure the precision, integrity, and thoroughness of all network design documentation.
Facilitate the growth and scalability of the network while enhancing its overall performance to meet evolving demands.
Leverage software applications including AutoCAD, GIS, Vision, and other network planning tools to execute tasks efficiently.
Seeking a highly motivated individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in [relevant industry, e.g., software development, IT infrastructure, or cybersecurity]. Proficiency in [specific programming languages, tools, or methodologies, e.g., Python, Java, SQL, Agile/Scrum] is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise in [specific technical skills, e.g., system architecture, cloud computing, or data analysis] and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with [industry-specific frameworks, compliance standards, or technologies, e.g., GDPR, Kubernetes, or machine learning] is a significant advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required for this role.
A minimum of five to seven years of hands-on experience in fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) or fiber optic network planning and design is required.
Proficiency in FTTH technologies, specifically UPON, UPON, and PON, is essential.
Proven expertise in utilizing AutoCAD, GIS, Vision, or comparable network design software is essential.
Candidates must possess demonstrated expertise in planning optical network infrastructure and designing optimal fiber optic routes to ensure efficient network performance and coverage.
Demonstrates a track record of successfully leading and directing technical teams, with a focus on achieving project objectives and fostering team collaboration.
With exceptional abilities in managing projects and facilitating clear, effective communication, you will ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
