Main Functions

Develops and updates shipment schedules to optimize product distribution and fulfill customer demands effectively.

Conducts assessments of inventory levels, production rates, and product demand to establish optimal reorder points, ensuring consistent product availability while reducing overall inventory expenses.

Proficient in the fundamental principles, methodologies, and operational frameworks commonly applied within the relevant industry.

The role encompasses responsibilities such as preparing inventory reports, conducting cycle counts, and calculating periodic asset valuations. This is a support position that requires significant guidance, as employees adhere to broadly outlined procedures and generally report to a supervisor or manager.

This role is classified as a Junior Inventory Control Analyst, primarily tasked with conducting foundational financial analysis and generating standard financial reports under close supervision.

A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a corporate finance or accounting environment. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting is essential, as is expertise in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with exceptional attention to detail, are necessary. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance is also expected.

Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, or business administration, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is highly desirable, as is experience in leading cross-functional teams.
