Job Summary
As a Business Developer within Palm Pay’s Pay with Transfer team, you will be instrumental in accelerating business expansion by uncovering untapped opportunities, onboarding high-quality merchants, training agents and merchants on product usage, and fostering greater product adoption across the ecosystem.
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage a diverse range of tasks within our organization. Your primary duties will include overseeing daily operations, coordinating team efforts to meet project deadlines, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, preparing comprehensive reports for senior leadership, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in relevant software tools, and the ability to multitask effectively are essential for success in this role. Prior experience in a similar position, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly preferred.
Market Research and Outreach: Pinpoint and engage with essential merchants across multiple market segments for PWT initiatives, merchant financing, strategic partnerships, and digital payment solutions by utilizing a variety of channels, including online directories, industry events, and professional referrals.
With a focus on Merchant Engagement Strategy, forge strategic alliances with prospective clients, cultivate meaningful relationships, and coordinate meetings or product demonstrations to effectively showcase the advantages of integrating Palm Pay’s full range of solutions.
We perform thorough evaluations of clients’ business processes, financial transaction systems, and key challenges to precisely determine their needs and obstacles, enabling us to deliver customized solutions.
Customized presentations will be developed to effectively demonstrate Palm Pay’s services, emphasizing key features, functionalities, and ROI potential in a manner specifically aligned with the distinct needs of each merchant, including Key and High-quality merchants.
Developing and maintaining strong connections with pivotal stakeholders in client organizations is essential, showcasing professionalism, dependability, and prompt communication.
Negotiation and Deal Finalization: Spearhead discussions regarding pricing, contractual terms, and agreements to finalize advantageous transactions while upholding compliance with organizational policies and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Work in partnership with internal teams, including product development and customer support, to resolve client inquiries, provide technical expertise, and facilitate the smooth deployment of selected services.
