Summary

ARISE is in search of a proactive and meticulously organized Project Coordinator to facilitate the seamless planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of projects spanning Born and Lobe States.

The position will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of ARISE interventions, including peace building, youth and women empowerment, livelihoods, civic engagement, and community resilience initiatives, specifically within conflict-affected communities.

The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with field teams, partners, and senior leadership to facilitate the seamless execution of projects, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and the realization of desired results.

Oversee a diverse range of critical tasks, including the supervision of daily operations, the management of project timelines, and the coordination of team efforts to ensure timely and effective completion of objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to align strategies, streamline processes, and enhance overall productivity. Serve as a primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and fostering strong professional relationships. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions to optimize workflows and achieve organizational goals. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards while maintaining a high level of accountability and professionalism in all undertakings.

Project Execution & Management: Overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

Provide assistance in the development, strategic planning, and execution of ARISE projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and donor specifications.

Oversee the daily project operations spanning the Born and Lobe field locations.

Deliver project deliverables punctually in strict accordance with established objectives and predefined performance indicators.

Collaborate effectively with Project Officers, Volunteers, and Consultants to facilitate seamless project execution and ensure alignment with established goals.

Develop, oversee, and execute systems for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting progress, performance, and outcomes to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Assist in designing and deploying MEAL systems to monitor and evaluate project advancements effectively.

Gather, organize, and evaluate project data to generate comprehensive reports and support informed decision-making processes.

Draft comprehensive narrative and activity reports promptly and with precision for distribution to management and donors.

Oversee on-site operations to confirm adherence to established quality standards and predefined benchmarks.

The role involves actively engaging and collaborating with stakeholders while ensuring seamless coordination across various parties. Responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships, facilitating clear communication, and aligning efforts to achieve shared objectives. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage diverse interests, and proficiency in resolving conflicts to foster productive partnerships.

Engage in clear, consistent communication with community stakeholders, local leaders, governmental entities, and strategic partners to ensure alignment and foster collaborative relationships.

Facilitate initiatives that foster meaningful connections, enhancing teamwork and collective accountability in project outcomes.

Attend and represent ARISE at pertinent community-level meetings and coordination forums as needed.

Provide administrative and logistical assistance by coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and ensuring efficient office operations to support daily functions and project execution.

Facilitate the strategic organization of project activities, training sessions, workshops, and community outreach initiatives to ensure alignment with overarching goals and objectives.

Support the organization and maintenance of project-related documentation, records, and knowledge resources.

Oversee the seamless coordination of logistics and field support to facilitate flawless execution.

Risk & Safeguarding Compliance involves ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices to mitigate risks and protect organizational integrity. The role requires monitoring compliance with safeguarding laws, conducting risk assessments, and implementing controls to prevent misconduct, fraud, or breaches of confidentiality. Responsibilities include overseeing training programs, investigating incidents, and maintaining documentation to demonstrate compliance. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of relevant legal frameworks are essential, along with the ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Assess potential obstacles in project execution and promptly communicate any risks to the appropriate stakeholders for timely mitigation.

Maintain strict compliance with safeguarding, protection, and accountability protocols.

Facilitate the incorporation of inclusion principles into all initiatives, with particular emphasis on empowering women, youth, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and individuals with disabilities.
