A recognized medical institution must have awarded the applicant an MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification.
Board certification in Pathology along with a current and valid medical license to practice in Nigeria are essential requirements.

A minimum of a decade of post-fellowship experience in diagnostic pathology, including substantial exposure to subspecialty areas, is required.
