Summary
ARISE is in search of an enthusiastic and meticulously organized Project Coordinator to facilitate the strategic planning, seamless coordination, execution, ongoing monitoring, and comprehensive reporting of projects spanning Born and Lobe States.
This position will oversee the successful implementation of ARISE interventions, focusing on peace building, youth and women empowerment, livelihoods, civic engagement, and community resilience in conflict-affected communities.
The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with field teams, partners, and senior leadership to ensure projects are executed efficiently, align with donor expectations, and deliver intended results.
Oversee and execute critical duties integral to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Deliver strategic direction and operational oversight to drive efficiency and productivity. Manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve departmental goals. Implementing and coordinating projects involves overseeing the seamless execution of initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires meticulous planning, proactive problem-solving, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to align resources, mitigate risks, and deliver measurable outcomes. Key responsibilities include managing project milestones, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and maintaining documentation to track progress and compliance. Collaborate in the design, strategic planning, and execution of ARISE projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and donor specifications.
Coordinate daily operational tasks for projects spanning Born and Lobe field locations.
Ensure that all project work plans are executed promptly and consistently aligned with established objectives and performance indicators.
Collaborate closely with Project Officers, Volunteers, and Consultants to facilitate seamless project execution.
Monitor the effectiveness of programs through systematic data collection and analysis to ensure objectives are met. Evaluate outcomes by comparing actual results against established benchmarks to identify areas for improvement. Compile comprehensive reports detailing progress, challenges, and recommendations for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability in performance tracking.
Contribute to the establishment and execution of MEAL frameworks designed to monitor and evaluate project advancements.
Gather, consolidate, and evaluate project data to generate reports and inform strategic decisions.
Compose clear, precise narrative and activity reports in a timely manner for management and donors to ensure transparency and accountability.
To oversee on-site operations and verify adherence to established standards and quality metrics.
Facilitating productive interactions and alignment among key stakeholders, this role involves orchestrating seamless coordination and fostering collaborative relationships to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
Maintain open and productive dialogue with community stakeholders, local leaders, government officials, and partner organizations.
Facilitate the development of connections to enhance cooperation and foster a sense of shared responsibility for project outcomes within the community.
Attend necessary community-level meetings and coordination forums to represent ARISE as required.
Provide administrative and logistical assistance to ensure efficient operations. Coordinate schedules, manage documentation, and facilitate communication between departments. Maintain records, organize meetings, and oversee office supplies and equipment. Perform data entry, prepare reports, and assist with travel arrangements as needed. Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures while supporting day-to-day office functions.
Contribute to the organization and scheduling of project initiatives, training sessions, workshops, and community outreach efforts.
Support the organization and maintenance of project documentation, records, and knowledge resources.
Facilitate seamless coordination of logistics and field support to ensure flawless implementation.
Risk & Safeguarding Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies to mitigate potential risks and safeguard organizational integrity. This role involves developing and implementing robust compliance frameworks, conducting regular audits, and addressing any identified gaps or vulnerabilities. Responsibilities include monitoring regulatory changes, assessing their impact on operations, and providing timely guidance to stakeholders to maintain full compliance. The position demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex compliance requirements clearly to diverse audiences.
Assess potential obstacles in implementation and promptly elevate any identified risks to the appropriate stakeholders for timely resolution.
To maintain compliance with safeguarding, protection, and accountability policies, ensure their strict adherence at all times.
Facilitate the incorporation of inclusion principles, with particular emphasis on women, youth, IDPs, and individuals with disabilities, into all processes and initiatives.
