Summary

The Sales & Business Development Manager spearheads initiatives to accelerate revenue growth, broaden market reach, and foster long-term customer connections across diverse sales channels.

The ideal candidate will spearhead the formulation and implementation of sales strategies, uncover new business prospects, cultivate key customer relationships, and guarantee the attainment of sales targets and profitability goals.

Oversee and execute critical tasks including project management, team leadership, and operational efficiency improvements; develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth; ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies; collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve key performance indicators; analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions; prepare and present reports to senior management; mentor and train junior staff to enhance overall team performance; maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.

As the leader of sales strategy and revenue growth initiatives, you will assume complete responsibility for company sales targets by designing and implementing innovative sales approaches that boost revenue, expand market share, and align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Sales leadership and performance oversight entails directing, mentoring, and inspiring the sales team to meet both individual and group targets. Defining measurable benchmarks, tracking output, offering consistent evaluations, and cultivating an environment of excellence are key responsibilities.

Branch Performance Management: Perform routine branch visits to evaluate sales activities, customer interactions, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards.

Business Development & Market Expansion: Explore and capitalize on emerging business prospects, forge strategic alliances, and cultivate additional distribution networks to drive organizational growth. Establish and nurture enduring connections with pivotal clients, channel partners, and relevant stakeholders while proactively seeking avenues to enhance the company’s market footprint.

Monitor product sales performance across all locations, tracking trends and implementing proactive strategies to enhance overall product effectiveness. Recognize underperforming items and design targeted sales initiatives and promotional campaigns to boost visibility, drive faster sales cycles, and streamline inventory turnover.

Leverage customer relationship management strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty by delivering outstanding experiences at every engagement point.

Actively participate in and contribute to various brand-building activities, including promotional events, trade shows, community engagements, product launches, and other customer-centric initiatives aimed at amplifying brand visibility and driving sales opportunities.

Reporting & Business Intelligence: Evaluate sales performance, market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Compile and deliver regular sales and business development reports, providing detailed performance analyses and actionable recommendations to drive sustained growth.

Collaborate seamlessly across departments—including Marketing, Operations, Finance, Inventory, Customer Service, and Human Resources—to synchronize business goals and drive the effective implementation of growth strategies.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related discipline is required.

A minimum of six years of professional experience in Sales, Business Development, Commercial Management, or a related field is required.

Proficiency in the Cosmetics, Beauty, Retail, FMCG, or Consumer Goods sectors is strongly preferred.

Achieved a consistent history of exceeding sales and business growth objectives, as evidenced by measurable results and key performance indicators.

Interested candidates must reside close to the Trade Fair in Jo, as this position requires full-time, on-site attendance and does not accommodate hybrid or remote work arrangements.
