We are in search of a seasoned and goal-oriented Senior Medical Sales Representative capable of leading, inspiring, and overseeing a high-performing sales team to propel business expansion within designated territories.

Job Summary

The Senior Medical Sales Representative will engage healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, and other crucial stakeholders to advocate for the company’s pharmaceutical products.

The successful applicant must demonstrate robust leadership qualities, exceptional communication proficiency, and a demonstrated history of success in pharmaceutical sales and team oversight.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure operational efficiency and team success, including managing daily workflows, coordinating team efforts, and aligning projects with organizational objectives. Facilitate effective communication between departments to foster collaboration and resolve interdepartmental challenges. Monitor performance metrics to identify trends, address inefficiencies, and implement data-driven improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Lead cross-functional teams by providing clear direction, mentoring staff, and promoting professional growth. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, delivering timely updates and resolving escalated issues.

Drive the advancement and commercialization of the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio by engaging with medical professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, and healthcare organizations to secure product adoption and sales growth.

Forge and sustain robust professional connections with healthcare practitioners and pivotal decision-makers.

Effectively guide, oversee, and develop a team of medical sales representatives to ensure the attainment of established sales goals.

Create and execute strategic sales plans tailored to designated regions to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

Evaluate team performance consistently and deliver targeted coaching, training, and assistance to foster ongoing development and success.

Compile comprehensive sales reports, conduct thorough market intelligence assessments, analyze competitor strategies, and provide detailed performance updates.

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this role. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or business administration, is required. Applicants should possess at least three years of experience in a similar position, with a proven track record of delivering results in project management or data analysis. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with industry-specific software are mandatory. A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

Minimum of four years of experience in pharmaceutical sales is required.

A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in leading or overseeing a sales team is required.
