Main Functions
Review discipline engineering work—both internally and by contractors and subcontractors—to verify compliance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory obligations, and provide formal assessments and feedback as necessary.
Ensures the proficient implementation of discipline-specific engineering and design processes in strict accordance with the project’s established goals, objectives, and procedural standards.
Ensures precise and prompt exchange of information among the Project Team and relevant Company departments regarding engineering discipline activities, progress updates, and emerging concerns. Beyond technical expertise, candidates must exhibit strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal competencies.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across assigned functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster communication, streamline processes, and achieve collective goals. In addition to performing the duties and responsibilities outlined for Levels 1 and 2, Level 3 responsibilities encompass a broader scope of advanced tasks, including strategic oversight, complex problem-solving, and leadership in specialized areas. This role demands a deeper level of expertise, requiring the ability to mentor junior staff, drive process improvements, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Candidates at this level are expected to exhibit strong analytical skills, independent judgment, and the capacity to manage multifaceted projects with minimal supervision.
Oversee comprehensive control system lifecycle management initiatives, encompassing systematic inventory tracking, strategic obsolescence planning, spare parts management, and planned upgrades or replacements.
Support control system maintenance and develop test plans as needed, perform software upgrades, conduct ESD testing, facilitate both offline and online testing, and coordinate activities—whether during plant shutdowns or regular operation.
Assist in the development of maintenance strategies for metering systems, encompassing custody transfer, allocation, regulatory compliance, and leak detection applications.
Assist in organizing and managing activities associated with the safeguarding of control system cybersecurity measures.
Conduct thorough assessments of systems to ensure adherence to the company’s Industrial Control System Requirements (CSR), thereby mitigating cybersecurity risks.
Collaborate on cross-functional alarm management initiatives, encompassing alarm rationalization, prioritization, the development of state-based alarm schemes, and the design or modification of alarm systems.
Review, revise, and enhance technical documentation and drawings for instruments and controls, encompassing PIDs, cause-and-effect diagrams, and control narratives.
Conduct onsite visits to production affiliate offices and facilities to provide hands-on support or facilitate the implementation of newly launched global support initiatives.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, supplemented by a minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior role. Proficiency in GAAP standards and advanced Excel skills are essential. Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is highly desirable. Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently are required. Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary for collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding junior staff. The ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies is critical. Additionally, familiarity with tax preparation and financial reporting is preferred.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, is required, with equivalent professional experience also considered.
Proficiency in discipline-specific design standards, technical specifications, codes, and applicable safety regulations is essential.
Capable of assessing, refining, and maintaining cause-and-effect documentation, PIDs, logic and architecture diagrams, as well as control narratives to ensure accuracy and alignment with current standards.
Professionals with demonstrated expertise in selecting, implementing, and specifying hardware components using ISA data sheets are sought. This includes proficiency with pressure, temperature, and level instruments, control valves, shutdown valves, and fire and gas detection systems.
Proven expertise in gathering and interpreting data using industry-standard database and analytics software, including SAP, Excel Analytics, and Tableau.
Demonstrated capacity to thrive under stringent time constraints, manage substantial workloads, and navigate shifting priorities with agility and composure.
Skilled in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential, particularly in technical and business contexts.
