PURPOSE

Conduct sensory evaluation activities to systematically assess product attributes, including taste, aroma, texture, appearance, and overall quality.

We are seeking a dynamic professional to oversee key operational tasks, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of projects. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, delegating responsibilities efficiently, and maintaining high performance standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives, monitoring progress, and delivering measurable results. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this position. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of progressive experience, and proficiency in industry-specific tools and methodologies. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are also required to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Develop and showcase product samples in accordance with approved sensory evaluation protocols to ensure consistent quality and compliance with established standards.

Support the planning and coordination of sensory panel sessions, which encompass both trained panels and consumer testing initiatives.

Maintain precise documentation of panelists’ feedback while ensuring comprehensive records of sensory evaluations.

Maintain sensory testing environments in a pristine, controlled state, free from contamination and any form of bias.

Label, categorize, and randomize samples to ensure unbiased testing and preserve the accuracy of results.

Assist in compiling, organizing, and performing preliminary analysis of sensory evaluation findings to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data management.

Responsibilities include managing stock levels of sensory materials, equipment, and consumables to ensure availability and organization.

Ensure strict compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and quality management standards at every stage of operations.

Assist in enhancing and refining sensory evaluation methods and procedures to ensure ongoing development and optimization.

Provide support in the orientation and calibration of sensory evaluation panel members.

Partner with cross-functional teams in Product Development, Quality Assurance, Production, and Marketing to drive forward product innovation and enhance overall product quality.

Conduct benchmarking studies, assess shelf-life evaluations, and contribute to new product development initiatives.

THE PERSON MUST

Demonstrates a deep passion for food quality, sensory evaluation, and consumer insights.

Demonstrates keen sensory perception, accurately distinguishing minute variations in flavor, scent, tactile qualities, and visual characteristics.

Demonstrate exceptional precision and meticulousness when documenting data to ensure flawless accuracy and integrity.

Possess foundational understanding of sensory evaluation methodologies and testing frameworks.

Seeking a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in [specific industry or field, if applicable], complemented by [X years] of relevant experience.
