Job Description

We are looking for skilled professionals who possess extensive experience in the Energy & Resources sector to become part of our Tax & Regulatory Services team.

Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless workflow efficiency and adherence to company standards, managing a team of professionals to achieve organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic plans that enhance productivity and align with long-term business goals. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement among staff. Drive the development and implementation of sophisticated oil and gas transactions, encompassing asset acquisitions and divestments, farm-ins and farm-outs, production sharing contract restructurings, and strategic portfolio optimization.

Offer specialized guidance on Nigerian tax frameworks—such as Petroleum Profits Tax (PPT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Tertiary Education Tax (TET), Value-Added Tax (VAT), and royalties—while maintaining technical precision, adherence to regulatory standards, and audit readiness.

Evaluate potential tax and commercial risks, design highly efficient structures, and provide strong, well-supported opinions to guide clients in making informed decisions.

Ensuring high-quality delivery and engagement involves meticulously overseeing all aspects of project execution and maintaining rigorous standards throughout the process. You must hold at minimum a Bachelor’s Degree or an Upper Credit-level Higher National Diploma (HND) in any academic field, while a Degree in law will be considered an additional qualification.

Applicants must possess at least five credits in WASSCE Ordinary Level/NECK subjects or an equivalent qualification, achieved in a single examination sitting, with Mathematics and English Language included among the credits.

A minimum of a decade of hands-on experience in corporate tax matters is required.

Qualifications include being a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ARCA).

Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in Nigerian tax legislation and regulatory frameworks.

Demonstrated expertise in overseeing concurrent projects and directing transaction-focused initiatives.

Proven ability to articulate ideas clearly through both spoken and written means, coupled with strong presentation proficiencies and adept client relationship management.
