Job Summary
We seek a dedicated and experienced Finance Officer to integrate into our Inbound Logistics team, where you will be responsible for managing vendor invoice reconciliation and facilitating customs duty payments.
Facilitate the execution of critical operational duties and oversee key responsibilities encompassing strategic planning, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure organizational efficiency and adherence to established objectives.
Responsibilities include gathering and organizing vendor invoices, as well as handling customs duty payments.
Reconciliation of account statements with shipping and terminal companies is required.
Prompt and accurate processing of reimbursement requests is required.
Maintaining accurate documentation of financial transactions and accounting records is essential to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Efficiently manage the processing and follow-up of refunds, coordinating with shipping and port terminal companies to ensure timely resolution.
Produces precise weekly and monthly reports with meticulous attention to detail.
Reconciliation involves reviewing and verifying empty container templates to ensure accuracy and consistency. This task includes cross-checking data entries, identifying discrepancies, and resolving any inconsistencies in the documentation. Attention to detail and adherence to established procedures are essential to maintain compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
Customs duty payments are processed and subsequently uploaded to the SharePoint platform to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Proficient in evaluating account statements, financial reports, and analyzing key financial ratios to derive meaningful insights.
Seeking a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least three years of relevant professional experience, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. The ideal applicant should demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex projects. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and attention to detail are essential. Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
