Description

We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Automobile Technician to become part of our team. The preferred applicant must possess practical expertise in the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of automobiles and/or motorcycles (autobikes).

The ideal candidate will conduct thorough inspections, perform routine servicing, execute necessary repairs, and maintain the highest standards of performance and safety for all vehicles and motorcycles under their care.

Oversee and execute essential duties encompassing core operational functions and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive project milestones, monitor progress, and deliver measurable outcomes within established timelines. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, mitigate risks, and foster innovation across all business units. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external partners, facilitating clear communication and fostering collaborative relationships to support organizational growth and success.

Execute regular maintenance and servicing tasks for automobiles and motorcycles.

Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems with the aid of suitable diagnostic tools and equipment.

Repair and replace malfunctioning vehicle components, such as engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension systems, and electrical systems.

Perform thorough inspections to detect any vehicle malfunctions and propose suitable repair solutions.

Conduct routine maintenance tasks to reduce vehicle downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

Upon completion of repairs, conduct thorough testing of vehicles to confirm adherence to established safety and operational standards.

Accurately document all repair work, maintenance tasks performed, and parts consumed in detailed records.

Verify adherence to organizational safety protocols and applicable industry standards.

Deliver expert technical assistance and direction to customers concerning vehicle upkeep and repair procedures.

Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked workshop to support smooth and efficient operations.

Monitor advancements in automotive technologies and repair methodologies to ensure up-to-date expertise.

Candidates must fulfill the following prerequisites for consideration. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required, along with at least three years of experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++, is essential, and familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are also necessary. Additionally, prior experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and knowledge of DevOps practices will be advantageous.

A minimum qualification of OND, Trade Test Certificate, Technical Certificate, or an equivalent credential in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.

Requires 2 to 5 years of hands-on expertise in the repair and upkeep of automobiles and/or motorcycles (autobikes).

Demonstrates extensive expertise in automotive mechanical and electrical systems, encompassing both theoretical understanding and practical applications.

Proven expertise in accurately diagnosing and resolving technical faults.

Proficient in operating automotive diagnostic equipment and repair tools.

Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of vehicle safety regulations and established maintenance protocols.

Proficiency in comprehending and analyzing technical manuals and repair documentation is essential.

Proven ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions through critical thinking and data-driven approaches.

Proven skills in effective communication and collaborative teamwork are essential.

Capable of managing responsibilities autonomously with little oversight required.
