Quality Control Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance.
Supervise quality control inspectors and teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
Identify and address quality issues, deviations, and defects, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken.
Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to maintain quality and resolve quality-related concerns.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and health & safety guidelines.
Maintain detailed quality reports, documentation, and records for internal and external audits.
Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices and procedures.
Continuously improve quality control processes through data analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Work closely with regulatory agencies and certification bodies to uphold compliance standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree/HND in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality standards, compliance regulations, and ISO/GMP/HACCP guidelines.
Experience in statistical quality control methods and quality management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
