About the job
The ideal Production Manager will plan, coordinate and control end-to-end production process in the assembling plant. He/she will design and drive implementation of laid down procedures to achieve desired expectation alongside a diverse team of technical talents.
Responsibilities
Manage factory in accordance with Company’s policies and manufacturing procedures, including personnel, materials, equipment and tooling.
Manage production work routine (start, close, breaks, overtime, vacation, absenteeism, discipline, shift pattern).
Maintain production workflow by monitoring procedures to meet specifications and deadlines.
Manage raw materials inventory to ensure availability of supply needed to complete production quotas quickly and efficiently, place orders when necessary in advance so inventory is restocked before depletion.
Plan and organizes production schedules, assess project and resource requirements, determine quality control standards, manage production processes and ensure that the production is cost effective.
Audit QA checklist for content, accuracy & completion and ensure section awareness and understanding of Quality Control Manual. Re-negotiate timescales or production schedules as necessary, select, order and purchase materials.
Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
B.Eng. Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, Welding & Fabrication Engineering or equivalent.
10+ years of proven work experience in an Industrial/ Manufacturing environment.
Experience in a Unionized environment is a plus
Strong technical team management ability
