The Country Operations Coordinator will support the Country Manager in overseeing daily business operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reporting. This role is essential for driving organizational efficiency, supporting governance, and maintaining operational integrity.
As a Country Operations Coordinator, you will:
Operational Support (40%)
Assist the Country Manager in managing daily business operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the seamless execution of business processes;
Monitor and evaluate key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions;
Develop and maintain operational workflows, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity;
Serve as the point of contact for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with company standards;
Oversee project coordination and initiatives, ensuring objectives are met within set timelines;
Conduct regular reviews of business policies and processes to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Regulatory Compliance (30%)
Monitor changes in regulatory policies and ensure timely updates and adherence to new requirements in collaboration with the Compliance team;
Prepare and submit periodic compliance reports to regulatory authorities in collaboration with the Compliance team;
Support AML efforts and reporting in collaboration with the Compliance team;
Support the Country Manager in interactions with regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders regarding compliance matters.
Reporting and Strategic Planning Support (30%)
Generate periodic operational and compliance performance reports for the Country Manager;
Support the Country Manager in developing and executing strategic plans for market expansion, business growth, and operational excellence;
Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track key operational and compliance metrics;
Analyze trends and data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making;
Contribute to the preparation of presentations, proposals, and business cases for stakeholders and regulators.
What you’ll bring:
3-5 years of experience in business operations, compliance, or risk management within a regulated industry;
Experience in the Gaming or Fintech Sector will be a huge advantage;
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field;
Master’s degree or professional certification in Compliance, AML, or Risk Management is an advantage;
Understanding of regulatory frameworks within Nigeria’s gaming sector, including compliance and AML requirements;
Proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing;
Strong organizational and project management skills;
Good analytical skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and team spirit;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; working experience with compliance software/tools is a plus.
